ĐỨC THẦY TRÌNH BẦY PHƯƠNG PHÁP CÔNG PHU THEO PHÁP LÝ VÔ VI KHOA HỌC HUYỀN BÍ PHẬT PHÁP
(Thâu âm năm 1994 tại Boston, MA USA)

[mp3.1-00:20]

[mp3.1-11:40]

NGUYÊN LÝ "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT”

Người tu niệm “Nam Mô A Di Ðà Phật,” phải hiểu cái nguyên lý của “Nam Mô A Di Ðà Phật.”

Rồi người mới tập, thì niệm “Nam Mô A Di Ðà Phật”:

- NAM: khi chúng ta nhắm mắt, chúng ta mới niệm “NAM,” thì tập trung ở đây [trung tâm chân mày];
- MÔ: tập trung ở đây [trung tâm bộ đầu, đỉnh đầu];
- A: ở thận [sau lưng];
- DI: là phát triển, nằm ở đây [ngay giữa trước ngực];
- ÐÀ: ánh sáng ở xung quanh;

- NAM, thật phương Nam lửa Bính Ðinh;
- MÔ, chỉ rõ vật vô hình;
- A, Nhâm Quý gồm thâu nơi thận;
- DI, giữ bền ba báu linh Tinh, Khí, Thần;
- ÐÀ, ấy sắc vàng bao trùm hết khắp cả;

Thì chúng ta muốn tìm lại sự thanh tịnh, phải tìm cái chấn động, cái nguyên lý, tức là niệm, “Nam Mô A Di Ðà Phật;” phải dùng ý, niệm; ý niệm, mắt nhắm, răng kề răng, co lưỡi, răng kề răng, chắp tay, niệm “Nam Mô A Di Ðà Phật,” 3 lần; dùng ý, niệm:

- “NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT, - “NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT,- “NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT” [mp3.1-15:43]

Rồi tiếp tục, cũng dùng ý, niệm:

Rồi trở lại một lần nữa:

- "NAM MÔ TÂY PHƯƠNG CỰC LẠC THẾ GIỚI QUÁN THẾ ÂM BỒ TÁT”
- "NAM MÔ LONG HOA GIÁO CHỦ DI LẠC CHỨNG MINH (tên họ của chính mình) TU HÀNH ÐẮC ÐẠO.”
- “NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT, VẠN VẬT THÁI BÌNH.”

Rồi đi đến chỗ Pháp Soi Hồn, là làm cho khối thần kinh bộ óc nó ổn định, lúc ta niệm thì cái chấn động nó mới hòa hợp về cõi thanh nhẹ được; Soi Hồn nó sẽ giải cái nghiệp tâm, càng ngày càng bớt động loạn, bớt hướng ngoại. [mp3.1-16:55]

PHÁP SOI HỒN

Vô niệm xong, chúng ta Soi Hồn:

- Chặn các cái huyệt này: chặn đây nó sẽ về đây [trung tâm chân mày];
- Chặn đây nó sẽ về đây [trung tâm chân mày] hội tụ;
- Một thời gian chúng ta thấy ở đây nó nặng cũng như có cái bánh xe nó chuyển chạy ngay chỗ này [trung tâm chân mày];
- Nhắm con mắt thấy ánh sáng xuất ra;
- Ngay ngắn, ngồi ngay ngắn như thế này Soi Hồn;
- Soi Hồn từ 5 tới 15 phút là nhiều lắm; c ho nó ổn định thần kinh bộ óc, vì thần kinh bộ óc hay hướng ngoại, bị đời lôi cuốn. Bây giờ mình tập trung, nó hội tụ thì nó mới về chơn giác, nó mới rời bỏ được nghiệp tâm; cái Soi Hồn là rời bỏ nghiệp tâm. [mp3.1-17:48]

[mp3.1-19:40]

PHÁP LUÂN CHIẾU MINH

Tập trung, như khi đã Soi Hồn rồi thì tập trung ở đây [trung tâm giữa hai chân mày], và cái ý nơi trung tim chân mày chuyển tới lỗ rún, rồi từ từ hít vô đầy rún, đầy bụng; thở ra, xẹp;

2; 3; 4; 5. [mp3.1-20:40]

1 tới 12, rồi ngưng một chút; 1 tới 11, rồi ngưng một chút; 1 tới 10, rồi ngưng một chút;

[mp3.1-36:11]

Khi ta có thể xây dựng trở lại với tâm từ bi sáng suốt thì chúng ta có thể đi bất cứ nơi nào! Và đi đến đâu thì đem lại sự bình an cho tất cả mọi người. Biết thương mình mới biết thương cha mẹ; biết thương mình mới biết thương đồng loại: cái áo chúng ta mặc được cũng chưa có biết may, cũng nhờ thiên hạ giúp chúng ta; chúng ta làm sao ghét người mà chế khí giới để giết người? Cái đó là một đại tội ở trần gian này! [mp3.1-36:43]

[mp3.1-50]

NIỆM BÁT NHÃ BA LA MẬT ĐA

NAM MÔ BÁT NHÃ MA LA MẬT ĐA;

SẮC BẤT THỊ KHÔNG, KHÔNG BẤT THỊ SẮC;

THỜI NHỨT KIẾN NGŨ UẨN GIAI KHÔNG;

THỌ TƯỞNG HÌNH THỨC DIỆC PHỤC NHƯ THỊ;

  1. Cái ý niệm là, “NAM,” khởi đầu từ đây [đầu môi trên]; “MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” cuối cùng ở đây [chót mũi],
  2. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” cuối cùng ở đây [trung tâm chân mày];
  3. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” cuối cùng ở đây [giữa trán];
  4. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” cuối cùng lên đây [mỏ ác];
  5. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” [đỉnh đầu]
  6. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” tới Ngọc Chẩm;
  7. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT” tới Hiệp Tích;
  8. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” tới chỗ Thận Thủy.

Đức Thầy: Do công mình làm!

Đức Thầy: Giờ Tý là giờ thông khai;

Đức Thầy: Cái luật; bởi vì còn ăn là còn phải làm; làm để nó giải độc tố trong bộ ruột và cơ tạng được nhẹ nhàng. Làm đúng 6 hơi đứng đắn á, là cũng đầy đủ rồi. Nhiều người làm 12 hơi, 30 hơi! Đó là yếu, chớ không phải là mạnh; người mạnh, người ta chỉ làm 6 hơi là toát mồ hôi rồi;

Bạn đạo: Dạ.

Đức Thầy: Ở xứ nóng, nó toát mồ hôi; mà ở xứ lạnh, nó lại ấm.

Bạn đạo: Xin cảm ơn Ông. Thưa Ông, Ông có giải thích rằng, “Khi hành Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển, chúng ta phải luôn luôn hạ lịnh, ‘Đầy rún, đầy ngực, tung lên bộ đầu!’” Thưa Ông, cốt để làm gì?

Đức Thầy: Cái ý! Cái ý chúng ta nghĩ bậy người khác là luồng điển nó chạy bậy, và nó nhắc cho làm chuyện bậy: nghĩ về dâm dục, nó hướng về dâm dục;

Vô Vi PractitionerBobbieNoflet: Each day we must make choices: we can choose to get out of bed in the morning, or we can choose to sleep longer; or we can choose to eat, or skip a meal; and we make more far-reaching choices than that also. I am Bobbie Nofflet; I am retired from the Federal Government after 32 years of service. Long before I retired, in 1956, I made the choice to leave the United States and go to work in rural areas of South Việt Nam. I chose to work with the poorest population; I came to realize then that poverty of the most desperate type is poverty of the spirit: those people have lost their ways on the spiritual path. They do not know how to love God. And the reaction then is illness, and poverty, and worry; and all of that is for nothing.

Another choice that I made was, one day I chose to travel with the Director General of Civil Service who invited me to come to an early Sunday morning meeting in his home, at which time I met Mr. Hang Si Luong, who was the spiritual leader for a group of Vietnamese. He explained that the method for meditation and the purpose of meditation could alleviate sufferings; and the people responded beautifully to his instructions: the absolute peace and calm of the group of people Mr. Luong was speaking with was amazing, particularly since day and night we were bombarded with the noise and terror of the spiking sounds of a constant war. It was not an easy time to be there. It was my good fortune to be able to spend some time with Mr. Luong, now we call him Mr. Tam, and he explained the purpose and the method for meditation. This is what provided the people the peace and calm in their lives.

He said that we are spiritual beings in search of peace, tranquility, and a place of calm for our spirit. All of these qualities are within us; we do not have to search outside. Our search is really a journey within. There is no question that comes to us that we are unable to answer ourselves if we meditate. Since we are spiritual beings, housed in a human body, Mr. Tam said that we are responsible for caring in loving ways for our body. His instructions to us on proper diet, exercise, and the breathing exercises, are secondary only to quality of continued meditation. Although the energy around Mr. Tam is far reaching, and his influence in our lives is great and we choose to be with him as much as possible, he stresses the need for each of us to meditate and to search our own path for growth and strength.

When we first heard an explanation of the method for meditation, we think it is so simple, it’s uncomplicated. It’s true! There are no fees charged, there are no regular meetings to attend; there is no Master, there are no requirements, there is only you, and you resolve to search out the spiritual path and the balance in your life. When we are searching for tranquility and balance in our lives, there is one requirement, and that is self-discipline. The choice is up to you, whether you choose turmoil or tranquility. Your choice alone. As for me, I choose serenity. I find that by following the spiritual path in my search for God.

Box 2045, Wesminter, California 92683-2045”. Xin đa tạ.

MASTER PRESENTS THE MEDITATIVE CONTEMPLATION PRACTICE

OF THE VO VI TRANCENDENTAL SCIENCE OF BUDDHA
(Recorded in 1994)

[mp3.1-00:20]

I would like to introduce myself as Luong Si Hang, born on 13 November 1923 in Quy Nhon, Vietnam.

Growing up in a large family during a time when society was lacking in every way, my mind was always focused on developing myself to help my family.

As I grew older, I became very ill, my studies were interrupted, and I felt that my life was not progressing and if I could live to be just 30 would already be a blessing. [mp3.1-01:07]

But as time went on day after day until now, reaching the midpoint of my life, all I see is still just suffering!

All life circumstances full of suffering, all the suffering people, all the manifestations of suffering that appeared in Vietnam; everyone is suffering: while living under kings, the kings lead happy lives, but the people did not; the people were lucky to be alive, unlucky if they had to die; that was all!

I kept going through life; then, along the way I got involved in all kinds of situations, trading and doing business, enduring hardships but never truly developing; eventually I grew weary of life.

But I look back, I ask myself what is life? What is existence? Why don’t human beings have happiness? mp3.1-2:00]

Human beings have minds, live together, but oppose one another, don’t know to care for one another!

At that moment, I turned my heart towards Heaven and Buddha.

What are Heaven and Buddha?

They are the infinite purity of the Higher Realm.

What is Buddha?

It is a suffering human being who in his heart has transcended karmic consequences, and is evolving with lightness towards serenity.

So I turned my thoughts to Heaven and Buddha, to spiritual texts, to those the human beings who had devoted themselves to monastic life, and felt affection and respect for those who had devoted themselves to monastic life; I started listening to spiritual texts; I liked them very much, but I did not understand the reason why.

From then on, I kept thinking and thinking; I noticed that my friend's face was becoming brighter and brighter, his eyes were becoming clearer and clearer, and he seemed very intelligent when he spoke. I asked him, "How did you become like this?" He told me, "I do spiritual atonement." [mp3.1-3:00]

But back then, I was more interested in having fun; I didn't need to do spiritual atonement. When I heard the word "atonement," I felt discouraged. What was "atonement"? I didn't understand. Then my friend said, "I'll introduce you to the teacher who taught me to spiritual atonement, Mr. Đỗ Thuần Hậu, at 93 Phan Thanh Giản, Đa Kao." My friend promised to take me there.

I went along with him; I went, and I met Him: old, but with very bright eyes, a very intelligent mind, talking about the Heaven, Buddha, mountains, all sorts of things; but I didn't understand anything! He talked about me when I was little: He also spoke very clearly: He said that when I was little, my family liked to dress me up as a girl, and that everyone loved and helped me a lot. [mp3.1-04:01]

But I found it strange—how could he know about things from when I was a child? Perhaps this person was more refined? From there, I began searching to find out why this person could understand so many things? He was also a being human, how could he understand so many things? So I came to Him to look for answers to understand.

In order to understand, I had to bring with me everything in this world that people consider especially outstanding in order to try Him: I had a friend who knew hypnosis, and another who knew about magic; I brought those two people with me; we went, went to visit, visit Him.

Then the young man said, "Sit down, Sir, and be still; I will hypnotise you!" So he hypnotised him; after a while, the old man said, "I am old and poor, I have done nothing wrong, why are you hypnotising me?" But the young man continued hypnotising him; he said, "Sit there, old man; I will hypnotise you." [mp3.1-05:03]

After a while, he felt his eyes turning red, and he saw everything around him as red. He was so scared that he asked for help. He spoke in Chinese, asking me to translate for the old man, saying that he needed the old man's help to save his eyes from going bad. So I said, "You do it, I don't know anything about it, how can I say anything? You also know Vietnamese, you speak to him!" Then he begged the old man for help. The old man just laughed; he said, "I told you I'm old, I can't do anything, don't blame me; but do you understand what a classic is? What is fire? Your fire burns me, it doesn't burn me, it runs back to you, doesn't it! Sit for a while, and it will calm down!" Then that man sat for a while, and it calmed down, returning to normal. Only then did he stand up, bow, and ask that man for help with his practice. [mp3.1-06:06]

Then there was that other chap who practised magic. He could sit guarding the cinema door, and if someone hit him on the head with a chair, it wouldn't hurt him, nothing would happen, because when he recited his spells, it would all stop. So at that moment, Mr. Tu, Mr. Do Thuan Hau, he said, meaning, "You have a monk following you around; do you want to get rid of him, or continue living with him?" Then the other man said, "Truly, we asked for a spell in Cambodia to protect us; so please help us get rid of him."

At that time, the three of us asked Mr. Đỗ Thuần Hậu to teach us how to practise; we were sincere in our desire to practise; then he said, "These three are very dangerous; now you must buy incense and candles to offer to me before I will allow you to practise; and you must pay respects to the Patriarch, then you must practise for the rest of your lives, for there can be no deceit!" So I bought incense and candles, made offerings, and requested to practise. The three brothers practised.

Well, the hypnotist was better at meditation: he saw lights, this and that, and he was rewarded; but I was criticised the most; they said I couldn't meditate, "Then try harder, I can't meditate; I see you can't meditate!" [mp3.1-07:26]

Then I tried my best; I didn't speak; I just kept silent, listened to learn and practise. I saw that life was full of suffering, there was nothing joyful; I just quietly practised; practised day and night; practised alone; practised until my family opposed it, no one loved me; then I just ate a bowl of rice and a vegetable to get by each day; just eating to survive and to find my own peace of mind; striving day and night to practise; sitting in that corner practising; I didn't even have a bed to sleep on! I practised very hard. [mp3.1-08:05]

From that day in 1957 until now, I have been constantly striving to cultivate myself. There have been countless adversities: in life, in the Dharma, in the spiritual realm, and in the realm of the dead, many disturbances; but my mind is resolutely set on the path of spiritual development. Human beings, if they wish to find happiness, must seek it in the spiritual realm, for the physical body cannot bring true happiness: today healthy, tomorrow ill, it cannot provide a lasting solution; only the spiritual realm can offer complete and lasting fulfilment.

Therefore, I practised Buddhism in Vietnam, and naturally many people came to my house to ask about the Dharma; they asked many questions, and I explained everything clearly.

From then until now, I have had no free time. Then, I came here to help Vietnamese people who are suffering; when they leave their homeland, everyone carries a heart full of sorrow, wanting to find peace and happiness for themselves. [mp3.1-09:07]

As for me, day and night I strive for good results, for lightness, and I wish to share the method I have been practising with everyone.

Humanity is yearning, suffering, seeking human potential, seeking its own psychological inner workings, not understanding that each person is a potential within this universe.

Therefore, we have the physical body, this Microcosm comprising Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth; Heart, Liver, Spleen, Lungs, Kidneys; it possesses the Five Colours, Five Lights, Mysterious Colours, Mysterious Lights within our organs and mind. Yet, when we lack purity, it loses the light within our inner consciousness.

Therefore, only through meditation can we recover what we have lost.

Our lives clearly show: circumstances are our teachers.

The world is full of hardships, but if we strive for peace, harmony and mutual affection among all people, then naturally we will have everything. [mp3.1-10:02]

But today, Vietnamese people have travelled across the five continents of the world to seek to recover what has been lost over countless lifetimes. And if one cultivates the spiritual path, one sees more clearly: we have lost the inherent purity that was once ours. Those living in a materialistic system chase after material things: money above all else! But ultimately, only spirituality can resolve this; the suffering within cannot be revealed to everyone; each person must understand and cultivate themselves, purify themselves through to find resolution! Whether one is great or small, from the president to the common citizen, all carry suffering that cannot be resolved; unless those who cultivate can resolve the electrical energy within our organs and minds, merging and dissolving into the cosmic light, only then will we experience a swift, gentle vibration, which we call "Purity." [mp3.1-11:05]

But if we do not harmonise with the gentle vibrations of the cosmic light, we cannot attain tranquillity; we are constantly agitated and reacting, which increases our desires and demands, and ultimately leads us nowhere.

Therefore, having practised to this day, I see that people are restless and lack perseverance, so I must use the method of practice that I have cultivated. [mp3.1-11:40]

THE PRINCIPLE OF "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT"

- NAM refers to the true southern direction where the Heavenly Gate resides; NAM: The true southern direction of the Fire Element: it continuously emits energy; just as the body's energy centre is located at the centre of the eyebrows, where two energy streams converge, causing it to emit a bright light.

- SOUTH, truly the Southern Fire of Bính Đinh.

- MÔ: Indicates the invisible: when we close our eyes, we clearly see the scene above.

- A: Nhâm Quý encompasses the Kidneys: Water and Fire interact; the Kidneys are unstable, the mind is restless, sleep is disturbed; yet the interaction of Water and Fire brings health, allowing one to sleep peacefully.

- DI: Maintain the three treasures of Spirit, Energy, and Mind: When Spirit, Energy, and Mind are stabilised and elevated, the person becomes stable. [mp3.1-12:38]

- ĐÀ: The golden light envelops everything: when we are pure, the light radiates throughout the body, protecting the body; the golden light envelops everything.

- BUDDHA: Be pure within yourself. Know your own affairs to correct and improve, repent and reform, evolve, so that you may become pure and light.

Those who recite "Namo Amitabha Buddha" must understand the principle behind "Namo Amitabha Buddha."

Then, when one first begins to practise, one should recite "Namo Amitabha Buddha":

- NAM: when we close our eyes, we recite "NAM," concentrating here [the centre of the eyebrows];
- MÔ: focus here [centre of the head, top of the head];
- A: at the kidneys [back];
- DI: development, located here [right in the centre of the chest];
- ĐÀ: light surrounding us;
- PHẬT: or purity within oneself [at the navel] [mp3.1-13:30]

Those chakras revolve in such a way that humans can only lightly connect; ah, by chanting "Namo Amitabha Buddha," one can connect to a beam of light; just as Amitabha Buddha practised, simply reciting "Namo Amitabha Buddha," yet He could go anywhere within this Universe; when He entered samadhi, He emerged immediately! By grasping the principle of "Namo Amitabha Buddha," all elements—Water, Fire, Wind, Earth—harmonise, enabling him to reach any place.

Therefore, if we practise as He has practised and continues to practise, we will easily meet Him one day, without difficulty, and be able to help many people in the future.

The energy becomes increasingly abundant, the light increasingly clear, and it knows only fulfilment, not destruction; and it advances upwards, without stagnation, speaking of birth and death; it does not belong to the Martial Buddha; it belongs to the Literary Buddha. [mp3.1-14:32]

The principle of "Namo Amitabha Buddha," I repeat once more:

- NAM, truly the southern fire of Bính Ðinh;
- MÔ, signifying the intangible;
- A, Nhâm Quý encompasses the kidneys;
- DI, preserving the three treasures of Spirit, Energy, and Mind;
- ĐÀ, the golden hue that envelops all;
- PHẬT, or purity within oneself. If we retreat into purity, there will be no more suffering.

Therefore, for those new to practice in the initial stage, for six months, recite "Namo Amitabha Buddha," Illuminate the Soul, Shine the Light.

When we wish to cultivate ourselves, we must first make a vow to cultivate along a particular path.

Then, if we wish to rediscover purity, we must seek the vibration, the principle, which is the mantra, "Namo Amitabha Buddha"; we must use our mind, our thoughts; our thoughts, eyes closed, teeth clenched, tongue curled, teeth clenched, hands clasped, reciting "Namo Amitabha Buddha" three times; using our mind, our thoughts:

- "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT," - "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT," - "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT" [mp3.1-15:43]

Then continue, also using your mind, recite:

Then return once more:

- "NAM MÔ WESTERN PARADISE OF ULTIMATE BLISS, GUAN YIN BODHISATTVA"
- "NAM MÔ LONG HOA TEACHING MASTER DI LẠC WITNESSES (one's own name) PRACTICING TO ACHIEVE ENLIGHTENMENT."
- "NAM MÔ A DI ĐÀ PHẬT, VẠN VẬT THÁI BÌNH."

Then proceed to the Soul-Illuminating Practice, which stabilises the nervous system of the mind; when we recite, the vibrations harmonise with the realm of lightness; the Soul-Illuminating Practice will dissolve karmic afflictions, gradually reducing restlessness and external distractions. [mp3.1-16:55]

SOUL REFLECTION PRACTICE

After ceasing all thoughts, we perform the Soul-Illuminating Practice:

- Block these points: block here and it will return here [centre of the eyebrow];
- Block here and it will converge here [centre of the eyebrow];
- After a while, we see that it is heavy here, as if there is a wheel turning right here [centre of the eyebrow];
- Close your eyes and see the light emanating;
- Sit upright, like this, for Soul Gazing;
- Soul Gazing for 5 to 15 minutes is sufficient; it stabilises the nervous system, as the nervous system tends to be outward-focused, easily distracted by worldly affairs. Now we concentrate, it converges, then it returns to true awareness, it can abandon karmic mind; Soul Gazing is abandoning karmic mind. [mp3.1-17:48]
- During Soul Gazing, if you recall worldly matters or business affairs, we should concentrate and use the mantra "Namo Amitabha Buddha"; this will resolve all anxieties about worldly affairs.
- Throughout the Soul-Reflection period, one must pay attention to the centre of the eyebrows; always look at that spot. Human nature tends to be crooked; this method corrects human nature to be upright, promising to do what one says and doing it correctly, without deviation.

- Parents give birth to their children, but it is very difficult to change their nature; only when children change themselves can they progress towards harmony.

This is the method of Soul Reflection:

What is the purpose of Soul Gazing? It is to focus the energy currents, the energy currents within our body, which rise up through the ears, through the eyes, through the nostrils. Now, if there is no opportunity to concentrate, then use three fingers to focus, and the energy will converge here. Then you are practising Soul Gazing: Sit upright, concentrate here; in the future, from this place it will become heavy, and it will emit light. [mp3.1-19:21]

Those who contemplate the Void, the future of these currents converges here, this place rises; here there will be a circle; then the sign points to Emptiness, purity.

[mp3.1-19:40]

THE LAW WHEEL SHINES BRILLIANTLY

Focus, as when you have already examined your soul, focus here [the centre between your eyebrows], and the intention in the centre of your eyebrows moves to your navel, then slowly inhale to fill your navel, fill your belly; exhale, deflate;

2; 3; 4; 5. [mp3.1-20:40]

Continue this until you reach 12 repetitions; then stop.

Do from 1 to 11, then stop; do from 1 to 10; 1 to 9; 1 to 8; 1 to 7; 1 to 6; 1 to 5; 1 to 4; 1 to 3; 1 to 2; 1 to 1; rest.

Why do we have to do that?

When practising Soul Gazing, focus on adjusting the nervous system of the brain, keeping the tongue against the teeth; when lying down to practise Illumination, also keep the tongue against the teeth, and pay attention to the centre of the eyebrows moving towards the navel.

Why inhale?

To purify, regulate, and harmonise the digestive system, thereby lightening the mind. The digestive system supplies energy to the mind, so we must care for both the mind and the digestive system. When these two are in harmony, the spirit becomes light; a soul must have a spirit; the spirit will be light and gentle in a healthy body, free from illness. Always take care of the mind and the digestive system, and you will feel light. [mp3.1-22:03]

When practising Chiếu Minh, one enjoys a very sound and restful sleep; doing it two or three times a day is best; it benefits both the mind and the digestive system; and the fire in the liver, and the fire within the liver, is also regulated, ensuring the blood flows smoothly throughout the body.

This is the Chiếu Minh Method:

Tuck your tongue, press your teeth together, focus here [the centre between your eyebrows], and shine directly on your navel; begin by inhaling, filling your navel and belly; exhale, deflating your belly;

so that the intestines are fully oxygenated, and during that breath it also helps to expel toxins.

Count from 1 to 12, then pause briefly;

1 to 12, then pause briefly; 1 to 12, then pause briefly; 1 to 12, then pause briefly;

Count from 1 to 12, then pause briefly;

1 to 12, then pause briefly;

...return to Zero (0) and it will be correct. The light returns to Zero, and it will have light.

Because people are preoccupied with calculations and cannot return to emptiness; practising this method regulates the organs, returns them to emptiness and lightness, making people happy, and it helps the intestines eliminate toxins, promoting health, good sleep, and a light step when going to work in the morning.

It's very easy to do. People like to exercise to build muscle, but they mustn't forget that the gut is important; the gut and the brain are important, and if they don't work, the gut doesn't function and the brain cannot be clear; when the gut functions regularly, the brain is always calm.

Therefore, this method of Enlightenment helps the Soul and the Spirit to meet more easily in the spiritual realm.

Because in life, if we do not cling to worldly matters, we will naturally attain the Way; and in terms of the soul and spirit, we will have the opportunity to meet each other. For those who are new to cultivation, practising the Chiếu Minh method will help them increase their patience while working, or observe things with a very calm mind, because the fire in their liver is extinguished, their intestines are unblocked, and their mind is lightened. This is very good for those who go to work; this is what "cultivating both life and the Way" means. [mp3.1-25:32]

PRACTISING THE PRINCIPLE OF NON-ACTION AFTER THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF TRAINING

After practising the principle of "Namo Amitabha Buddha" for 6 months through meditation and the Chiếu Minh method, we begin proper practice:

SOI HỒN, PHÁP LUÂN, and THIỀN ĐỊNH.

Now I shall commence the practice:

PRAYER

Then repeat once more: [mp3.1-26:40]

SOUL REFLECTION

Begin the Soul-Reflecting Practice:

Being a person on this earth, what matters most is the mind; if the mind is unstable, nothing can be accomplished; if the mind is balanced and stable, everything will succeed.

After completing the Soul Gazing exercise:

THE LAW WHEEL CONTINUOUSLY TURNS

Human survival depends on the Primordial Energy that sustains life; we must apply the Primordial Energy of the universe, inhale it, bring it in to release the Small Heaven and Earth, and make ourselves strong, so that all our organs become strong and light. [mp3.1-28:58]

Those who are deeply rooted in their afflictions, who practise diligently yet fail to see the Buddha or attain lightness, must practise the Dharma Wheel of Constant Rotation more frequently. By diligently focusing on these aspects, their inner being will become unblocked, wisdom will shine forth, and the mind will find peace.

Performing six proper breaths should warm you up inside.

Those who practise but find their internal organs remain cold have blocked intestines; their bodily functions are out of balance, and their blood circulation is disrupted. Such conditions require cleansing the intestines, which naturally clears the mind.

This is the method of the Eternal Wheel:

Here I am showing a friend who is learning meditation: they are doing the Dharmachakra Mudra; this is when you exhale completely, inhale deeply into your belly, always commanding "Fill your chest, lift your head!"

Our presence is a miracle of the earth: it is the human mind that has created everything in this world: bridges, vehicles, aeroplanes, everything, all formed by the mind; it is a miracle!

But if we believe in God, we see that there is no place where God is not present; God suffers with us, and God evolves towards lightness, so we realise that the more we cherish God, the more peaceful, forgiving and loving our minds become.

And we understand that Order is the True Dharma. [mp3.1-35:34]

Human beings live without the order of the organs, which is to say, they are in a state of chaos.

Understanding the organs means understanding the principles of the universe that support the temporary evolution of this world.

Therefore, in materialistic society, people always talk about money; but without understanding money, can money save you?

It cannot save you!

Come here with empty hands, and you will leave with empty hands; no one can take a single coin beyond this globe! [mp3.1-36:11]

Only by rebuilding with compassionate wisdom can we go anywhere!

Wherever we go, we bring peace to all.

Only by loving oneself can one learn to love one's parents; only by loving oneself can one learn to love one's fellow beings.

The clothes we wear here were not made by us; they were made with the help of others. How can we hate people and make weapons to kill them?

That is a great sin in this world! [mp3.1-36:43]

Therefore, improving oneself to evolve is the right path!

The weapons of love and morality are essential for the planet, essential for humanity in life. The heavens change constantly, storms come dangerously at any moment, but an unstable soul will only create more suffering.

We practise this method to release the troubles and disturbances within our minds; to stabilise ourselves, to see that life is impermanent, to rejoice in contributing to our own enlightenment; to love all beings.

The blade of grass we still cherish! Grass can beautify our homes; but grass also has life like us: "Heaven gives birth to man, how can man be without fortune; earth gives birth to grass, how can grass be without roots?" There is no blade of grass without roots, just as there is no person without a mouth to suckle in order to live, roots suckle water to live; we eat to live.

Therefore, "All things are one," we must understand, so that whatever we do will be easy to succeed. [mp3.1-37:56]

People live on a pile of sand, yet they know how to take that sand and turn it into cups and glasses to serve humanity. And what is the result of the cup?

It transcends class distinctions, serving wholeheartedly for the evolution of humanity! Then we see the blessing in the cup: it is only after suffering that it is formed!

Then we must also cultivate ourselves with great effort in order to resolve the troubles and misfortunes within our hearts. [mp3.1-38:34]

The method of cultivating purity and clarity brings order to oneself: when we restore the light and order above, we need not fear the collapse of our homes, the dangers of storms, or the lack of money!

The principle of survival, of imperishable existence, is something everyone possesses!

The compassion we possess: we know how to cherish our bodies, to cherish our wives and children, to cherish our families, to cherish our fellow beings; that is the compassion we possess.

But if we do not cultivate compassion, if we are not pure, how can we have noble compassion?

We borrow the Dharma to re-establish the noble virtue of compassion; radiant, enlightened, forgiving, and loving towards all beings; then we will have more opportunities than ordinary people, be better off, and we will not waste what we have in material terms. [mp3.1-39:35]

The wasteful use of material resources in this world has created pollution and contributed to the current social unrest; even the air is polluted solely because of human greed! People want to do something for themselves, but they do not know the consequences!

We have heaven, a land above the heavens! Therefore, those who practise any religion wish to go there: those who believe in God wish to go to God's kingdom; those who believe in Buddha wish to go to Nirvana; so we who believe in Buddha must purify ourselves so that we may go to Buddha! [mp3.1-39:40]

The evidence is clear: refugees who come to America, only when they come to America will Americans help them; if they don't come to America, Americans can't help them!

If we are not pure, if we do not ascend to Heaven, then Buddha cannot help us. If we do not ascend to Heaven, if we do not reach God, God cannot help us! [mp3.1-40:35]

Therefore, in this world, each nature has its own afflictions: the violent remain violent, the lustful remain lustful, and there is no resolution for the impure energies clinging to our organs, weighing down our minds with money, love, and karmic bonds; causing harm throughout our lives, preventing us from evolving!

When we understand this, we decisively let go of all matters and focus solely on moving forward; but we must reach the point where Heavenly Kingdom is where everyone is wise and intelligent, and there is no anger or resentment towards one another; helping one another, building upon a shared vision of goodness and beauty! Only by doing so can we achieve it! [mp3.1-41:19]

Therefore, life has taught us very clearly: life is precious, teaching us that to earn money, we must study a specialised field; but without order, that specialisation cannot be formed; with order, that specialisation yields results.

Once you've mastered your profession, money is no issue; it's very easy to earn, not difficult at all! And once it becomes easy, you find yourself loving your profession even more, developing it to its full potential; it is the light of compassion that is infinite!

Only then will we truly care for and help others; money is temporary, but love and morality are paramount! [mp3.1-42:02]

All of humanity yearns for the path of love and morality! Therefore, we must meditate and enter a state of deep concentration to perceive the affairs of the world and the serene path we are walking and exploring! Thus, it is essential to close our eyes to elevate our souls to a state of serenity, to perceive a path of liberation, and to be free from worldly distractions and stagnation! [mp3.1-42:31]

ENDING MEDITATION AND CONCLUSION

When meditation is complete, we begin to release it: the two currents of Yin and Yang are flowing through our hands.

All the methods I have practised are, essentially, to treat my own illnesses and restore my own psychological stability and mental equilibrium.

During the day, we must go to work, exchanging our abilities for a bowl of rice and a piece of clothing; therefore, we must be sincere and genuine. And to be sincere and genuine, we must first know ourselves before we can be genuine towards others. [mp3.1-45:23]

How can one help others without knowing oneself? To know oneself better, one must be truthful; it stirs neither our hearts nor our minds; at we must always be truthful with everyone; every society in this world needs truthful people!

We must be honest with ourselves, and learn to love ourselves, love our parents, and love our fellow human beings—only then are we truly human beings on this earth, worthy of being human beings on this earth. [mp3.1-45:53]

CONCLUSION

Therefore, the conclusion of these meditation practices is that they bring peace and heal both mind and body throughout the evolutionary process.

No matter how turbulent the heavens may be, our hearts know the eternal, unchanging nature of the Soul's evolution, and we know that by nurturing it, our Soul will find peace; even if we were to leave our bodies one day, we would still be in a place of stability. [mp3.1-46:23]

Then our daily, hourly spiritual thoughts nurture the path back to Home! For this earth is not ours! Therefore, today science has proven that satellites can leave the earth; so too can our Souls leave the earth and go even further!

Through our efforts to discover wonderful things to contribute and invent good things for humanity, we can harmonise peace on earth in the future!

Therefore, we seek to cultivate ourselves; we do not say, "Cultivate, I close my eyes to cultivate and believe, superstition and superstitious beliefs; rely on the teacher, rely on Buddha"; that is harmful!

We must correct ourselves to evolve; that is the true path!

I have a mind, I have the right to invent; that is the ultimate freedom! [mp3.1-47:14]

The soul must be completely free and independent in order to develop, to be responsible for this body, and to be responsible for the entire universe and humanity.

Our minds are always open and receptive in building and helping.

We see that the sun's rays serve all beings at all times! So our minds should at least follow that good example in order to evolve.

The compassionate heart of God, the great compassionate heart of God, is to help all beings, from plants and insects to all living things; yet we create distinctions between this person and that person, which is our own mistake! [mp3.1-48]

One must know how to awaken the mind, live in harmony, and dissolve into all realms to elevate the consciousness and evolve infinitely. That is the true Dharma!

After practising for so many years, I have come to realise that if people do not reform themselves, they cannot accomplish anything; even leaders, if they do not know how to reform their hearts and minds, will only bring ruin to the country; they cannot accomplish anything! [mp3.1-48:20]

The Soul is the master of the microcosm, a profound matter. Without knowing how to heal, without knowing how to cultivate the mind and character to evolve, one misses the opportunity to become human!

The opportunity to be human will both inspire and challenge us: it leads us to purity rather than destroying us; even Hell helps humanity evolve!

Therefore, the human soul does not die: even if it descends into hell, it merely suffers punishment and evolves, but it does not die!

Therefore, the ultimate destiny of humanity is light, true light! You must rediscover your own light!

Do not lose your light and suffer loss in this life, loss for all eternity! [mp3.1-49:15]

I sincerely contribute, at the age of 70, being healthy, everyone sees me as very healthy, and my heart is always filled with love for everyone and building for everyone. When everyone progresses, I am even more delighted and cherish them, because the truth of everyone is in purity: when we look back, when we were born, we were pure, without attachment, without delusion.

When you grow up, you follow this faction and abandon that one, creating karmic suffering for yourself! So, what are the consequences for those people? Now we have the opportunity to visit the hospital and see those who were once high-ranking officials, but are now sick and incurable; they must leave this world; and then where do they go?

Then we clearly understand the law of cause and effect: If we do good deeds and live orderly lives, then when we die, we will have order and goodness.

But if we act disorderly and do evil, then we must bear the consequences!

Therefore, the opportunities for spiritual cultivation that yield results and an understanding of the depth of spirituality can be offered to everyone, regardless of their faith.

We should persevere in practising correctly, and only then will we have the opportunity to be the next person to lead the next person to evolve.

That is the mission of a light on this earth!

Sincere thanks to you all. [mp3.1-50]

[mp3.2]

This is the method of CIRCULATION ASSISTANCE

Each day, whether meditating or not, one can practise physical exercises to regulate blood circulation; particularly beneficial for conditions like haemorrhoids and high blood pressure, which can be self-managed and prevented.

RECITING THE PERFECTION OF WISDOM

NAM MÔ BÁT NHÃ MA LA MẬT ĐA

FORM IS NOT SEPARATE FROM EMPTINESS, EMPTINESS IS NOT SEPARATE FROM FORM

THỜI NHỨT KIẾN NGŨ UẨN GIAI KHÔNG

FEELING, PERCEPTION, AND FORM ARE ALSO EMPTY

THE SINGLE-MINDEDNESS OF THE SINGLE-MINDED.

Then the energy flows up to the crown chakra. Those who practise meditation for a long time have energy in their crown chakra, so they can lead their soul higher and lighter, giving them the opportunity to liberate all spirits to progress with us, and then we will be able to open the light and harmonious consciousness.

Praying after meals is the correct path to follow.

Before the meal, prayer is merely a crutch; it accomplishes nothing.

We bear our own burdens, advance, and only then is it true. [mp3.2-2:23]

“THE TIME OF THE FIRST VISION OF THE FIVE AGGREGATES IN THE STAGE OF EMPTINESS”: Only when our initial form no longer exists can we advance to the realm of lightness, where all beings progress together: THE TIME OF THE FIRST VISION OF THE FIVE AGGREGATES IN THE STAGE OF EMPTINESS.

“THỌ TƯỞNG HÌNH THỨC DIỆC PHỤ NHƯ THỊ”: All cultivate together, as the very part of the Soul is evolving;

Then chant “NAM MÔ A Di ÐÀ PHẬT” three times;

then bow; rest.

BOW TO THE MIRROR OF NON-ACTION

Those who have the Mirror of Non-Action may bow before it:

ENJOYING THE NURTURING ENERGY

THE EIGHTFOLD PATH

Every day from 6 PM to 10 PM, we must set aside time to recite the Eightfold Path.

How should we recite the Eightfold Path?

Only those who have attained enlightenment can recite it;

Recite this three times; close your eyes and recite.

I recite this practice for you to see:

This is the method of the Eightfold Path.

After hours of tranquil meditation, once enlightened, one must use the Eightfold Path to control oneself.

  1. The concept is, "NAM," starting from here [the upper lip]; "MO, A, DI, DA, PHAT," ending here [the tip of the nose].
  2. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” finally here [between the eyebrows];
  3. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” finally here [between the eyebrows];
  4. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” finally here [on the tip of the nose];
  5. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” [crown of the head]
  6. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” to the Jade Pillow;
  7. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT” to the Hiệp Tích;
  8. “NAM, MÔ, A, DI, ĐÀ, PHẬT,” to Thận Thủy. There are 8 places.

Then every day, from 6 to 10 in the evening, when free, sit and recite three times, guiding the energy flow to run. But only those with light cultivation can do this; beginners cannot. Only after long meditation practice does one have energy flow, and can guide it; one has a way to control one's own actions. [mp3.2-7:16]

Those who practise long and meditate must illuminate all eight points; they will illuminate according to their level of evolution; becoming brighter and brighter, clearer and clearer.

Losing that light is what makes people irritable.

Therefore, one must have, and life must have, a method of self-control.

If one cannot master these points, one cannot control oneself; actions are easily mistaken.

This practice involves a method of self-control over the evolution of the Soul.

Losing that light is not acceptable. Move! [mp3.2-7:58]

Note: The text in brackets [..] is additional commentary from the Vô Vi Library, provided as written explanations to supplement the video footage in the original teaching materials by the Master.

INTERVIEW WITH THE MASTER ON: THE METHOD OF PRACTICE

Disciple: Good day, everyone. My name is Nguyen Thi Xuan An, and I currently reside in Fountain Valley, California, United States. Today, I am honoured to have the opportunity to ask Mr. Luong Si Hang some questions about the Legal Principles of the Vô Vi Science of Buddhist Mysticism; yes.

Yes, sir, it is my pleasure to greet you. Sir, we understand that you have been practising the method of Non-Action Mystical Buddhist Science for a number of years; sir, what is so special about this method that you wish to leave it to the world in this way?

The Master: Why do I practise the Law of Non-Action?

It is because life is too chaotic; throughout my life, from childhood to adulthood, I have seen nothing but chaos: chaos from poverty to wealth, all is chaos, so I sought out the path of cultivation; thus today, at the age of 70, I still feel serene.

I see this as a precious gift to humanity; I wish to leave behind the traces of my actions and experiences so that those who follow may be freed from the troubles and afflictions within their hearts. If they are willing to act, they may save many others who come after them.

Friend: Sir, how do you see a person who practises correctly?

The Master: A true practitioner must act properly; must clearly see where their soul comes from! Because our souls come gently into our physical bodies, creating karma; suffering, suffering forever; suffering even in poverty, and suffering even in wealth; suffering in high positions, and suffering equally in low positions.

Therefore, seeing that they have lost the purity of their souls from the beginning until now, cultivation will restore that purity, and only then will they clearly see the immortal and imperishable nature of human beings.

Disciple: Yes, thank you, Sir. Sir, what are the distinctive features of the Law of Non-Action that we must follow in order to "attain purity," as you said?

The Master: Then you must commit yourself! When we descend into this world, we commit ourselves to suffering: we are masters of our bodies but do not know how to control them, so we are led astray by our bodies: we desire all sorts of things: we break the laws of heaven, we pollute our organs, our minds and nerves find no peace; our souls are submerged, with no way out!

If you cultivate yourself and return to purity, then naturally and spontaneously you will be restored to your original state, easy and effortless.

Fellow practitioner: Yes, sir, please explain clearly, what does "Wu Wei" mean?

The Master: "Wu Wei" means: "Wu" is nothingness; "Wei" is the smallest, also nothingness. Therefore, if we understand the principle of Wu Wei, there is nothing in life that causes conflict and brings suffering to ourselves! "Wu Wei" is to go to a place of lightness; so if we want to understand Wu Wei clearly, look at the sun, it is nothing, yet it shines; then the nothingness of everyone's compassion shines even brighter; confirming clearly: humans created the light bulb, but the light bulb cannot create humans!

Disciple: Yes, Sir; may I ask, Sir, how many teachings does the Law of Non-Action encompass?

The Master: The Soul-Illuminating Method, the Wheel Method, and Meditation are the main ones.

For those who are new to the practice, life is too chaotic, so use the Soul-Illuminating Dharma and the Illuminating Dharma to reduce toxins in the body through breathing.

Once stabilised, one can then practise the Law of Non-Action: Soul Illumination, Dharma Wheel, and Meditation; continuing to develop consciousness.

Sir: Yes, Sir, the Soul-Gazing method has a rather unusual name; we would also like you to explain the term "Soul-Gazing." Does "Gazing" mean to seek or to gather? And does "Hồn" refer to one's inner wisdom? So is the Soul-Searching method a way to seek and gather one's own inner wisdom? Sir, is that correct?

The Master: "Soul Gazing" is about blocking the nerves: because these nerves are activated by energy; and if the energy flow is slightly off, it becomes unstable, so people gossip about others without caring for themselves; "Soi Hồn" rectifies the mind, stabilises it, and sets it on a path, only then can it develop upwards; the more it develops, the faster it vibrates, the more tranquil and light it becomes.

Teacher: Sir, how can that law possibly reform the human mind?

The Master: It is due to one's own actions! Because of the way one behaves: people who spend their days gossiping about others become preoccupied and bound by external circumstances, leading to fear, a desire to live, and a fear of death! But those who are light-hearted, free from mental karma, do not think about others but only correct their own actions, only progress and never regress!

Disciple: Yes, that is very good!

Sir, regarding the Chiếu Mình method, you said that "the Chiếu Minh method can clear away human resentment". Please explain how this method can clear away human resentment.

The Master: Where does human stagnant energy come from?

When I see the ways of the world, when I see people who are wealthy, I feel resentful; when I see people who are poor, I feel resentful; when I see people who are more knowledgeable than me, I feel resentful; that is the pent-up anger inside that causes the liver or the circulation of blood to become unbalanced.

Now, what I practise with this Chiếu Minh method is to breathe in the primordial energy of heaven and earth, to absorb the Wonderful Dharma, thereby neutralising toxins within the organs. This stabilises the liver and allows it to function in an orderly manner; the interaction between the heart, liver, and kidneys becomes harmonised, leading to a healthy person with sound sleep.

Master: Sir, you said that at midnight we should rise to practise this method, "Midnight is the hour when heaven and earth open, and we use that to expel the toxins within ourselves through our breath to heal ourselves"; so please,

The Master: The hour of the Rat is the hour of opening;

Disciple: Yes.

Master: From 11 o'clock onwards is the hour of enlightenment, and all things are peaceful,

Disciple: Yes.

The Master: And in accordance with the Law of Evolution, at that hour, we draw upon the Primordial Energy of Heaven and Earth to dissolve the stagnant impurities trapped within, allowing them to release and become light, thus achieving openness. It is by harnessing that momentum that evolution is possible!

Disciple: Sir, regarding the Dharma Wheel of Constant Movement, you mentioned that, "This Dharma can help the Yin and Yang energies circulate smoothly within the body." Sir, could you please explain this further?

The Master: Harmony! When we work and think during the day, it inevitably becomes chaotic; but at night, when we practise the Dharma Wheel, why must we breathe in, "Fill the abdomen, fill the navel, fill the chest, and lift the head"?

When you inhale like that, the oxygen fills you up, bursts forth, and tries to stay there, but when you move, move intensely, it will return to stillness.

When you inhale deeply, it returns to stillness!

After taking those six breaths, the mind feels stable, sitting with eyes closed feels bright, and there is a gentle sense of elevation.

Disciple: Then, you said, "The Dharma Wheel constantly turns and can open the human heart." Sir, how does it help the circulation in the blood vessels to the extent of opening the heart? Please explain the connection between the two.

The Master: What is the heart?

Understanding. Once you've settled down, you feel a gentle joy, your mind feels expansive, growing wider and wider, and you no longer harbour narrow-minded thoughts about others!

People become lighter and more peaceful because of that!

Dear Sir, some practitioners of the Vô Vi method have sent me some questions about the Pháp Luân Thường Chuyển. They asked whether it is necessary to perform the exercise correctly from 6 to 12 breaths, even if they feel very light, or not? Please advise.

The Master: The rule is: as long as you eat, you must exercise; exercise to detoxify your intestines and organs and make them lighter. Doing six proper breaths is enough. Many people do twelve breaths, thirty breaths! That is weak, not strong; a strong person only needs to do six breaths to break a sweat.

Disciple: Yes.

The Master: In hot countries, it sweats; in cold countries, it stays warm.

Disciple: Thank you, Sir. Sir, you explained that, "When practising the Dharma Wheel of Constant Rotation, we must always command, 'Fill the navel, fill the chest, lift the head!'" Sir, what is the purpose of this?

The Master: That's it! When we think badly of others, it is the stream of consciousness that runs amok and prompts us to do bad things: thinking about lust, it leads to lust;

Disciple: Yes.

The Master: Thinking about helping others, it leads to helping others; but thinking about spiritual elevation, advancing towards the Middle Path, it will lead us down that path instead of causing chaos! We must issue the command!

Otherwise, it will be displayed here! It's not just me in here: this body is the Microcosm, composed of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth; within it, there's a lot going on: there are the Six Sense Organs and the Six Sense Objects; and if we don't issue orders, don't issue strict orders, they'll rebel, and in an instant, they'll cause trouble.

Try practising for a while, you'll see! Then sit and breathe like that, and after a while it says: "Why bother breathing anymore; it's better to just let it happen naturally!" That's laziness talking, it's suggesting that!

But if the Master agrees, if his wisdom agrees to that, then he will be led astray by them!

One must always maintain sovereignty over the Middle Way for one's mind to be clear.

Disciple: Sir, so what standard should we use to measure whether we are always acting correctly?

The Master: Well, if one acts correctly each night, the Soul-Illuminator becomes more lenient, and the Dharma Wheel also turns more smoothly; and one sleeps peacefully.

Practising the Eightfold Path is about control: if it runs smoothly, it is correct; if it runs unevenly, you have done something wrong. Usually it runs smoothly, but today when you practise, it runs unevenly, so you have done something wrong! You must repent and practise correctly, then naturally it will recover. 18:30]

Disciple: Thank you, Sir.

Sir, in the last sentence of the Dharma Wheel, why do we mention the navel, "Full navel"; why is that?

The Master: "Fill the navel, fill the chest, lift up the head!" The navel is connected to the intestines; and filling the navel also benefits the kidneys: Kidney Water flows up to the brain; Therefore, taking care of the intestines is taking care of the brain! Practising the Dharma Wheel Constant Rotation brings nourishing energy into the body, into the delicate tissues, revitalising the organs, making them light and flexible again, and nourishing them! We take the Primordial Energy of heaven and earth to nourish the organs; thus, the human body becomes more resilient and less prone to illness!

Disciple: Sir, must one proceed from the navel, then throw it up to the chest, and only then throw it up to the head?

The Master: That is the command: "Fill the navel, fill the chest, then lift up to the head!"

As for going downwards, it stirs the Fire Triple Mystery, causing the eyes to turn red, and then people say, "After practising, it affects the nerves," this and that; it's just breathing incorrectly!

Breathe correctly, it's not wrong! But if you breathe downwards, it makes your eyes red; "Tẩu hỏa nhập ma," that's the point. Many practitioners think, "I breathe strongly so I can fight!" That's more enjoyable than practising meditation!

Meditation must bring lightness; only by taking the Wonderful Dharma upwards can one be a true meditator! If meditation is practised to become strong for martial arts, that is not right, it is not correct, it cannot be applied to meditation! Many people do it wrong.

Therefore, I made my own practice tapes for everyone to see, and I had to do it correctly and stick to it; just keep at it little by little, day by day, and it will happen!

Don't rush to abandon the Dharma and run to another; it will be the same! It will be just as stagnant, without progress, causing suffering for yourself, and that's all!

Fellow practitioner: Sir, after the section on the Dharma Wheel, we come to the section on Meditation. Could you please explain clearly what Meditation entails? Because some fellow practitioners sit in meditation, bow their heads, or bend over! Sir, is this acceptable or not?

The Master: The Dharma Wheel constantly turns, it is only steady, not sleepy, not messy! The Dharma Wheel constantly turns, it is correct: it is the vibration of one's mind harmonising with the vibration of light, cosmic light, then it is light and clear.

And that lightness, I felt so happy: the longer I closed my eyes, the happier I felt, and for a long time, I thought it was very short, I preferred to sit longer rather than rush to get up! That was when I was able to ascend to a lighter level.

Friend: Yes. You mentioned that the disturbances and difficulties or sufferings of this life are all aimed at helping us "return to tranquillity." Could you please explain this further?

The Master: Those who are provoked, oppressed, this and that, that and this, what else can they do in the end? Only by being serene can we resolve this matter; we must yield, we must endure humiliation to resolve it!

There are still many people who gamble and lose, saying, "I have to take my money to the casino, or I'll die! I'll swallow my pride, I'll accept losing, then I'll have a chance to recover!"

As for cultivation, it must be so: one must endure humiliation to the utmost to resolve karmic afflictions; if one lacks endurance, one will never cultivate! Ascending is very difficult! No matter which realm we ascend to, we are dirtier than them; we cannot be cleaner than them! So now we must endure humiliation to pass through that place.

In life, it's the same at work: if you want to climb the ladder, you have to swallow your pride; naturally, people will offer you a good position.

Sir, in your opinion, does that mean one must be very strong to endure humiliation? Consequently, many people say, "If I keep enduring humiliation, people will no longer respect me!" What do you think, sir?

The Master: Just like the sun, they regard the sun as nothing; yet we do not share in its nourishment; how can we be superior to the sun? They use the sun to obscure the sun, yet they need the sun to live; but the sun still bestows its blessings!

So why should we endure such humiliation? To reform the other party; because they will encounter more turmoil! When they have experienced tranquillity, encountering turmoil makes them feel weary; they become mindful! Our actions save them; they do not kill them!

Therefore, maximum forbearance is good for the family and brings harmony to the family. Like a wise mother, a wise wife, practise maximum forbearance; your husband will come to his senses, come to his senses! No matter how fierce you are, you must fear forbearance: no matter how fierce you are, you must fear compassion!

Enduring humiliation cultivates a compassionate mind to save all beings; there is nothing to be surprised about! Do not be afraid, do not fear reactionaries! Enduring maximum humiliation can help people evolve; it is us doing good, not doing evil.

Dear Sir: Your words are very precious! Sir, please tell us the goal of the Science of Mystical Buddhism's Non-Action Law is to "Help practitioners self-treat illness and self-restore their psychological internal medicine." Please explain, what is the "psychological internal medicine" of each person?

The Master: The fundamental psychological system of each person is stable; it originates from the Great Purity; it is stable.

When I was a newborn, I was very stable; my parents had no food to eat, but I wasn't sad. But now, when I hear other people's stories, I feel sad!

That's because I've lost my mental stability! I'm unstable!

I must maintain that calm state!

But to cultivate the Way of Non-Action, one must first restore one's inner psychological state; after practising the Dharma Wheel of Constant Movement extensively, one will gain clear awareness; those who practise correctly will see clearly.

However, the Dharma of Non-Action is not a theoretical construct.

It is only through practice, reaping results, making discoveries, and benefiting others; it is not meant solely for oneself.

Disciple: Sir, how can we know whether a teaching is a true teaching?

The Master: Any practice that purifies impurities and preserves purity: we carry impure physical bodies, consume impure food and drink, and are filled with toxins; yet if it can purify these, then that practice is true.

Any teaching that can eliminate toxins within the body, impurities within the body, that is the True Teaching.

But any method that increases impurities is the Wrong Dharma: controlled by external circumstances!

Disciple: Sir, why do you say, "Controlled by external circumstances"?

The Master: We imagine God, yet we do not know where God is; we imagine Buddha, yet we do not know where Buddha is! We keep dreaming and dreaming, weakening our nerves, and refusing to evolve!

If we perceive God as infinite, infinitely merciful, and saving all beings, then He is everywhere! And His courage is so beautiful that it enables people to believe in the faith, understand the faith, and learn to endure humiliation as He did; then everything will be beautiful on this earth!

Disciple: Sir, you mentioned light: you said, "In the end, there is only light for human beings!" Could you please explain?

The Master: That is correct! Humanity is light! It is the "Single Point of Divine Light," not something ordinary!

Therefore, human beings possess a mind that is not subject to any circumstances!

Many people say, "People help me, I thank them, but my heart must be able to do it myself to be truly happy!" That is, "I am the light of the earth, the creation of heaven and earth;" it is no trivial matter!

Therefore, many people practise, but they are wrong!

Relying on Heaven and Buddha; despising one's own abilities, disrupting one's own psychological balance; then one will never find peace! No matter how many years one practises, it will be the same! At the moment of death, it will become clear.

My friend: We don't want to wait until the moment of death to remember! Sir, you said, "Being human is extremely precious; therefore, as humans, we must seek the Way, for the Way does not seek humans!" Please explain this to me.

The Master: That's exactly right! People, through suffering, as I have often said: "Suffering, suffering, suffering is the gateway to the Dharma"; only after suffering can one let go!

Stealing from others does not bring wealth; stealing constantly, stealing until you are exhausted, still brings nothing! Then you must let go of that profession and seek the path of the Dharma to cultivate your soul and become light.

Friend: Yes, sir: there are also many people who are still very afraid of not going to work, not having money, and then fearing many things. So, sir, please help me understand this?

Master: Because those who fear have not yet attained purity, they have not yet clearly seen their mission on this earth: A mind is a light on this earth. Only by enduring hardship can all matters be resolved; if people do not endure hardship, they will never progress.

Therefore, in society there are thieves; thieves go to prison; once in prison, they lay down their knives! Those people no longer bother to steal; they are the resolute ones! People say, in life they say: "Lay down the knife and become a Buddha," that's how it is. No more stealing!

People are afraid of everything, then threaten themselves! We are a cosmic possibility, so why can't we accept humiliation in order to live peacefully with everyone else? Then there would be no hunger.

I am willing to help everyone; everyone is not going to let me go hungry!

Therefore, those who suffer are binding themselves, then lamenting with the excuse of suffering; but in truth, there is nothing to suffer!

Learn to progress! Everyone present on this earth accepts the ups and downs in order to progress towards clear serenity.

Therefore, only "cultivating both the worldly and the spiritual" will yield good results: the world will never help us! It only criticises and disrupts.

But if we are pure, we can save the world. "Life and the Way are cultivated together"; without life, we would not know the value of purity. Without thirst, we would not know the value of a drop of water; without darkness, we would not see the value of light!

Therefore, the monk seeks enlightenment. But if one cannot endure hardship, how can one attain enlightenment? Endure hardship, be light-hearted, be open-minded. All things in this world are Nothingness: there is no truth!

Yet many people claim it to be truth; but in the end, there is no truth: we come here with empty hands, and we return with empty hands!

Many billionaires, with all their wealth, can never die, can they? But they must die; at some point, they must depart!

What departs? The soul!

Their souls will experience either the enlightenment of their own choices or the darkness of their own choices.

They die, they suffer; they also enjoy their suffering so that they may evolve!

Therefore, the Lord's law does not kill anyone; it saves everyone! Great Compassion, how could it kill anyone?

If one suffers, He allows suffering; if one desires pleasure, He grants pleasure! Ultimately, one must strive towards purity and evolution, and that is all.

Disciple: Yes, sir, so, once a person has truly cultivated and nurtured their virtue of forbearance, sir, how can they earn money to live?

The Master: If they truly practise patience, truly cultivate that virtue of patience, without thinking about making money, then they will believe in Heaven and Buddha.

Many people in life grow weary and retreat to the monastery to practise; in the end, they manage to make ends meet!

Heaven does not forsake those who are kind-hearted and willing to endure hardship; therefore, in this technological society, we clearly see that everyone is willing to learn, willing to endure hardship to study, going to school and enduring hardship to learn.

And the monk is also a student; once he has learned, he practises forbearance; then his character is good, his virtue is good; then everyone trusts him! People seek those who are forbearing, patient, and trustworthy; they do not seek those who are rude and reckless! So do not worry; if you cultivate the virtue of forbearance, you will naturally become a person of wealth.

Monk: Yes, sir, in today's society and economy, people demand a lot of competition and rivalry in their work. So, in your opinion, how can a monk live in such circumstances?

The Master: Disputes and rivalries bring no benefit; I do not engage in such things. If one endures humiliation and does more than others who engage in disputes and rivalries, one's future position will be better. In any company, those who endure humiliation will always be noticed by the management.

Disciple: Yes, sir.

The Master: As for Heaven and the Buddha, they take notice of those who practise, who endure hardships.

Spiritual friend: Sir, so if we endeavour to practise meditation according to the Scientific Mystical Dharma of Non-Action, we hope that we will gradually overcome those fears and return to tranquillity, and thus,

The Master: If you practise meditation properly like that, you will have nothing to worry about in life: you will eat little, not be wasteful, not demand much in material terms, and your mind will be at peace; then the more you meditate, the more enlightened you will become, lacking nothing, and having no worries; Heaven will provide everything!

Disciple: Yes, thank you very much, Sir.

The Master: Yes, thank you, Sister.

FELLOW PRACTITIONER SHARES EXPERIENCES IN

PRACTISING THE LAW OF NON-ACTION

Vô Vi Practitioner: Each day we must make choices: we can choose to get out of bed in the morning, or we can choose to sleep longer; or we can choose to eat, or skip a meal; and we make more far-reaching choices than that also. I am Bobbie Nofflet; I retired from the Federal Government after 32 years of service. Long before I retired, in 1956, I made the choice to leave the United States and go to work in rural areas of South Vietnam. I chose to work with the poorest population; I came to realise then that the most desperate kind of poverty is poverty of the spirit: those people have lost their way on the spiritual path. They do not know how to love God. And the reaction then is illness, and poverty, and worry; and all of that is for nothing.

Another choice I made was to accompany the Director General of Civil Service one day when he invited me to an early Sunday morning meeting at his home, where I met Mr Hang Si Luong, the spiritual leader of a group of Vietnamese people. He explained that the method and purpose of meditation could alleviate suffering; and the people responded beautifully to his instructions: the absolute peace and calm of the group Mr. Luong was speaking with was astonishing, particularly since day and night we were bombarded with the noise and terror of the piercing sounds of constant war. It was not an easy time to be there. It was my good fortune to spend some time with Mr. Luong, now known as Mr. Tam, and he explained the purpose and method of meditation. This is what provided the people with peace and calm in their lives.

He said that we are spiritual beings seeking peace, tranquillity, and a place of calm for our spirit. All these qualities reside within us; we need not look outside. Our search is truly an inward journey. There is no question that comes to us that we cannot answer ourselves if we meditate. Since we are spiritual beings housed in a human body, Mr. Tam said we are responsible for caring for our body in loving ways. His guidance on proper diet, exercise, and breathing techniques is secondary only to the quality of sustained meditation. Although Mr. Tam's energy is far-reaching and his influence in our lives is profound—and we choose to be with him as much as possible—he emphasises the need for each of us to meditate and seek our own path to growth and strength.

When we first heard an explanation of the meditation method, we thought it seemed so simple, so straightforward. It truly is! There are no fees, no regular meetings to attend; there' 's no Master, there are no requirements—there is only you, and your resolve to seek out the spiritual path and balance in your life. When we seek tranquillity and balance in our lives, there is one requirement: self-discipline. The choice is yours alone—whether you choose turmoil or tranquillity. As for me, I choose serenity. I find it by following the spiritual path in my search for God.

(CONTINUED IN MANY FOREIGN LANGUAGES...)

Dear friend: My name is Trần Ngọc Dũng, and I currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. I was born in 1956 in Vietnam; I grew up in a time of war and turmoil. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to come and live in the United States. Like many other young people, with a youthful spirit full of vitality and a desire to serve humanity, my family devoted a great deal of time during my childhood to pursuing education, creating a career for myself so that I could have a stable job and a stable life; now I have all of the above, but the spiritual issue still lingers, searching!

Since my childhood, I have lived in a Buddhist family, studied many scriptures, and lived according to Buddhist teachings. As I grew up, I had the opportunity to absorb the principles of justice and charity in Christianity, and I went to churches to pray and study the Bible in search of truth.

To this day, I still haven't found my own happiness.

Where does happiness come from?

We are born, grow up, study, build a career, start a family, and then get caught up in money and fame! When we are poor, we wish for money; when we have money, we wish for more: I buy a house, then I want to buy a bigger house; and so I ask myself, what have I done for myself?

In life, there are times of sadness and times of joy; work at the office also has its ups and downs: times of frustration, times of irritation with those around you, or in short, when you use your mind to earn your daily bread, your spirit is inevitably depleted to some extent; there are many times when you feel down, thinking about sad and depressing things.

Fortunately, in 1980, I had the good fortune to encounter the Science of Non-Action in Buddhist Mysticism; and since then, I have practised meditation regularly within the limits of my own capabilities. I have a family; my wife is also very fortunate, and we both practise the Science of Non-Action and the Mysteries of Buddhism. Today, my wife and I are very happy; happy to have the opportunity to serve humanity through our dedicated work; happy to have peace within ourselves; happy to have the chance to do useful things.

Today, I have the opportunity to share the sincere words from the bottom of my heart, which are also the result of years of gentle, peaceful cultivation. I wish to share them here with all my fellow practitioners at , with all practitioners around the world, and with all those with a kind heart who wish to walk the path of the Dharma.

To put it briefly, I would like to share what I consider to be the most important thing I have learned during my years of spiritual practice: the power of endurance. I am very happy that this endurance has helped me overcome all obstacles in my life. I believe that the virtue of forbearance is a guiding principle for me. And what is more fortunate than anything else is that the Science of Mystical Non-Action has brought me back to myself, so that I know what happiness is. I sincerely thank you all.

If you wish to learn more, or have questions regarding the Non-Action Science of Esoteric Buddhist Law, we have published the book "Vô Vi Meditation - A Practice To Rescue Onewelf". Furthermore, we have tapes related to Meditation according to Non-Action Science.

For all correspondence, please address it to "Vô Vi Friendship Association" and send it to "P.O. Box 2045, Westminster, California 92683-2045". Thank you.
